Working principle of special cylinder sinusoidal rodless cylinder


Start ●Acceleration: The driving air enters the inside of the buffer ring from the cylinder port, and flows into the left cavity of the driving piston from the gap between the buffer seal ring and the U-shaped groove on the outer circumference of the buffer ring. In addition, the exhaust gas from the right chamber of the drive piston is released to the atmosphere from inside the hollow buffer ring through the drive solenoid valve at the cylinder port. Therefore, the differential pressure (thrust) generated between the left and right sides of the drive piston is larger than the starting resistance of the device, and the drive piston starts to move to the right. When the driving piston moves to the right, the U-shaped groove on the outer circumference of the buffer ring gradually becomes deeper, and the flow required for the driving speed of the driving piston flows into the left chamber of the driving piston, and the driving piston accelerates. In order to make this acceleration process smooth, it is achieved by processing a U-shaped groove (like a sine function) on the buffer ring.





Deceleration ● Stop: Once the buffer seal ring installed on the drive piston enters the buffer ring at the right end of the stroke, the right cavity of the drive piston is compressed like a common buffer mechanism, producing a sharp braking force. However, for the sinusoidal rodless cylinder, there is a U-shaped groove with a varying depth of the SIN function on the outer circumferential surface of the buffer ring. When the air in the buffer chamber enters the buffer, a large amount of air in the buffer chamber is discharged, and a sharp braking force is not generated. As the buffer stroke increases, , the discharge flow of the buffer chamber is throttled, so it can reach the end of the stroke smoothly.
